Helen is the Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Crescent Sterling, Ltd. Prior to forming Crescent Sterling, Ltd. she was with another investment management firm for eight years. There she was a Portfolio Manager and served on the Investment Committee. She was also responsible for evaluating fixed income investment opportunities.
Helen received both her Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Southern Methodist University.
Her professional qualifications include the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and memberships in the Financial Planners Association (FPA), Greater New Orleans Chapter of The Financial Planners Association, the CFA Institute, and the Financial Analysts of New Orleans. She is also a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP), Collaborative Professionals Group of Southeast LA., LLC (CPGSEL) and New Orleans Estate Planning Council (NOEPC).
Helen has been a speaker for various groups including the annual Financial Planners Association's MoneyWatch Live conference. Her topics have included tax management of stock investments, investing for retirement, and retirement and exit strategies for the business owner. She has also held seminars on financial planning for the single, divorced or widowed woman.
